Membership at Sanger Bible Church
A life dedicated to Christ is a journey. One step is committing to a local church as a member. Sanger Bible Church celebrates everyone taking this step in their journey with Christ. It is a beautiful testimony of a believer, a critical step of obedience to our Lord Jesus, and a sign of identification with the visible Body of Christ.
Sanger Bible Church Members are invited to special Member events, including church business meetings. They are given access to the upcoming Sanger Bible Church member system.
Sanger Bible Church respects all who explore this step in their walk of faith and we want to ensure clarity of the process and commitment. Whether you've been following Jesus for a long time and are looking for a new church or are a new Christian, we would be honored to talk with you about becoming a Member. Here is how to complete the New Member process here at Sanger Bible Church.
New Member Process
Step 1 - Let Us Know You Are Interested
You can let us know you are interested in one of two ways. If you want to find out more about membership before you commit select "I'm Interested in Membership" and fill out the requested information. If you know you want to begin the process select "Member Application" and complete the form. Either way we will contact you to schedule a time for a conversation.
Step 2 - Attend The Member Workshop
This is a 3-hour workshop, usually held the last Sunday of January, April, July and October. (please check the calendar) We cover what we believe, how we are organized and led. There is plenty of time for discussion and Q&A. You will receive our member's handbook.
Step 3 - Pastor Interview
After completing the Member Application and attending the Member Workshop, you will meet with the pastor. This is a time we get to know you and have any lingering questions answered. It is also a time to look at your continuing walk with Christ and how we can help make that stronger.
Step 4 - Member Presentation
After successfully completing the Member Application, Member Class, and Pastor Interview, you will receive a letter welcoming you into the church and the scheduled date you will be presented at the church. On the appointed Sunday, you will be introduced to Sanger Bible Church as members.
Step 5 - Become Involved
You will want to join a Life Group (if you are not) and work with our team to see how you grow through mentoring and service at the church.
