Our First Christmas Eve

Everyone came to pause from the busyness of the Christmas season.

Everyone wanted to focus on Christ's birth.

We gathered around tables, enjoyed hot chocolate and cookies, and caught up on each other's holiday plans.

After Dr C led us in prayer, different people read passages from the Bible about Christ's birth, and we interspersed singing our favorite Christmas hymns.

No sound system. No instruments. Just the stillness of our little church.

Finally, we lit candles as we dimmed the lights. Our closing song was Silent Night. 

A very, special time as we reflected on all God has done in our church!
